 Birds of Steel features 20 historic missions with a generous amount of fictitious missions, spanning eight world-famous campaigns, with the possibility to choose from more than 100 aircraft in the fleet of the Alliance and the Axis. You can select the ideal number of planes for each campaign, to be recreated in terms of handling, capabilities and weaponry. The classic Spitfire, P-51D Mustang, and Messerschmidt 109 are ready for combat, while users decide whether to fight alongside the Allies, Japanese or Axis forces.

A set of camera views allows the user to witness their skills from various external views, or from inside the cabin of all aircraft. The missions are presented with relevant prior contextualization of the conflict, and users can see how their contributions affect the overall trajectory, with new planes available to achieve specific objectives.

Birds of Steel also offers the user a variety of controls ranging from the basic movements of arcade style to a complete control system that provides a total management of every aspect of flight - while the online option includes cooperative modes to play with your friends, or huge fights to see who rules the skies.
